Welcome to 24h Commerce. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About the Service

24h Commerce is a peer-to-peer marketplace where users can buy and sell items through time-limited listings (Stories) that expire after 24 hours.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use 24h Commerce. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must provide accurate information during registration
• One person may maintain only one account
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Listings and Transactions

• Sellers are responsible for accurately describing items and fulfilling orders
• Listings automatically expire after 24 hours unless reposted
• Prices are set by sellers in USD or CAD
• A platform fee of 3% is charged on completed transactions
• Buyers and sellers communicate via in-app chat to arrange transactions

5. Payments

• Payments are processed through Stripe
• Sellers receive payouts to their connected Stripe account
• We do not store complete payment credentials
• Refunds and disputes are handled according to our refund policy and Stripe's buyer protection

6. Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not list or sell:

• Illegal items or substances
• Counterfeit or stolen goods
• Weapons, explosives, or hazardous materials
• Adult content or services
• Items that infringe intellectual property rights

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Create fake listings or engage in fraudulent transactions
• Manipulate reviews or ratings
• Circumvent platform fees by conducting transactions outside the app
• Use automated tools to scrape or interact with the service

7. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create (photos, descriptions, reviews). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it within the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

24h Commerce is a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions and do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items. Our liability is limited to the platform fees collected.

9. Dispute Resolution

Users should first attempt to resolve disputes directly. If unable to resolve, contact us and we will mediate. For unresolved disputes, binding arbitration in Ontario, Canada applies.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via in-app notification.
